The Shreveport Municipal Auditorium achieves 144th in Pollstar Magazine Top 200 theatre venues in 2016

Shreveport, LA – February 28, 2017 – Pollstar, a concert industry magazine, released their top venues of 2016, and the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium has been listed among the top theatre venues in the world. The Shreveport Municipal Auditorium was ranked 144th out of 200 among theatre venues. The rankings are determined by tickets sold worldwide for concerts, and shows during 2016.

2016 was a record year for The Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, with twenty-six total concerts and shows. The top performers of the year were Diana Ross, Robert Plant, and Bob Dylan. The Shreveport Municipal Auditorium experienced sold out shows for Tyler Perry’s “Madea on the Run,” Harry Connick, Jr. and ZZ Top.
